This 1984 Carrera, finished in classic Guards Red over Black, is a very rare car not only because of its exemplary, original condition and low-mileage, but also on account of it being a Sunroof-Delete Coupe (all but very few US-spec Carrera Coupes were equipped with sunroofs). This ’84 911 has never had any paintwork, and as the pictures hopefully show, the original Guards Red paint is outstanding. The black leather interior is as equally clean and near-to-new as the exterior – and every other aspect of this spectacular Carrera.

The original, stamped service books are present, along with a stack of receipts encompassing the bulk of the car’s uneventful service life. Within the last 2000 miles the car received its 30,000 mile service (including valve adjust, cap/rotor, air/fuel filters, drive belts, etc). At this time the brake pads and rotors were also replaced with new OE equipment and the shocks upgraded to Bilsteins; the car was professionally lowered to the proper European ride height and aligned accordingly. Rounding out this recent, documented $7000+ service was the installation of a Fabspeed MaxFlo exhaust that includes stainless steel headers (w/ heat) and a dual-outlet muffler; this system looks perfect on the car and sounds even better!

The factory option decal is intact under the hood; this 1984 Porsche 911 is equipped with the following factory options: Fuchs (395 – as can be seen in the photos, this car has been fitted with rare, desirable 16×7/8″ Turbo Fuchs that just plain work with the car’s lowered stance, dual exhaust, and old-school lack of spoilers), black headliner (469), Blaupunkt Monterey (158), raised-hub sport steering wheel (018), and cruise control (454).

Everything works, all service is up-to-date and documented, and the car rides on brand new Goodyear’s and has fresh Brad Penn in the engine and Swepco in the trans that shifts like new.
