Thanks to its original, color-to-sample Aubergine paint, this very nice, very original 1984 m491 Factory Turbo-Look coupe is even more rare and unique than most already rare and unique m491 cars.

This beautiful, unusual 2-owner Porsche has just under 58,000 documented miles. The car is fully serviced; we just had the full 60k service including valve adjustment performed at CS Motorsports (262/257-0678). CS also lowered the car to European ride height and aligned it accordingly. All fluids (Brad Penn for the engine, Swepco for the trans) are fresh, as are all the filters, plugs, wires, etc. The battery is new. We also had the wheels refinished with gloss black centers and painted crests, before mounting them with new tires. The service and tires have a little over 100 miles on them.

Our digital paint meter confirms that ALL of the paint is original (except for the mirrors and H4 trim rings, both of which are a touch too dark, but I’m afraid to try to mess with ‘em…the original sugar scoops will be included); that it came in this color is further supported by the underhood decal that specifies L999 (color to sample), as well as the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. The interior is similarly colored to sample (Cork, which was not a regular interior color in ’84), and is ALL leather, including the dash and rear deck. The leather is in spectacular shape without any tears, rips or stains. Ditto the black headliner and visors.

Service records, original stamped books/manuals, tools, compressor, Certificate of Authenticity, and original Blaupunkt Monterey are present and included.
